Awin US' headquarters just doubled in size to accommodate our accelerated business and expanding team. Full of unique spaces for creative collaboration, the new location fosters openness, flexibility and provides an environment in which people are more excited than ever to come to each day. Nestled within the larger Spark Baltimore community, the new office allows for networking opportunities with a range of local start-ups, as well as regular visits from clients and team members across our local and international offices.
This past year not only marked advancement for our local operation but within Awin's global landscape. The acquisition of ShareASale and merger with affilinet in 2017 helped propel our business forward to generate a whopping $16.3 billion in revenue for advertisers and $734 million for publishers during the last financial year. As a burgeoning market, the US will see further investment in the coming months and the new office cements our focus in this region. The palpability of our growth is both rewarding and motivating for our new and veteran staff, all of which have settled in to the new and improved headquarters that includes spacious, electronic standing desks, enhanced video conferencing and adult coloring books - for those in need of a brief digital detox over lunch.
"It is fantastic to see that our new office is already becoming the destination for talent in performance marketing. Our staff is our core asset, and I personally take great pride in our team’s dedication to our clients, which is both recognized and valued in the industry. Providing them with a space that empowers community and team collaboration was an essential goal during our planning, as these are core values shared across the entire Awin group. Several staff members volunteered support throughout the move, which is yet another example of going the extra mile and the excitement we all share for Awin’s continued success in 2018 and well beyond.
I cannot wait to host many of our partners as well as our international staff in our new home. So let us know when you are in the area for a tour around our space, and of course for some Baltimore crabs," says Alexandra Forsch, Vice President of Awin US.
As a fixture of the local Baltimore business community having been headquartered in the city since 2010, Awin is always seeking ways to give back. Through our new partnership with Business Volunteers Maryland, we provided resources and materials that became available through the transition, such as laptops to Soccer Without Borders and desks to Maryland Book Bank.
