zanox and Affiliate Window have been growing advertiser and publisher revenues since they were founded in 2000. The new, unified network comprises 6,000 advertisers and more than 100,000 active publishers. Based in 15 locations around the world, Awin blends global reach with local expertise to deliver growth for all its partners.
Today, we are proud to unveil our new logo and website. The Awin Sail signifies the company’s commitment to driving forward innovation. The three triangles represent advertisers, publishers and consumers, with our network at the core.
Background
zanox and Affiliate Window belong to the zanox Group, formed in 2010 following the acquisition of Affiliate Window by zanox to become Europe’s largest affiliate marketing network. The companies operated independently until 2014, when they merged under one management team with Mark Walters as CEO, Adam Ross as COO and Peter Loveday as CTO, following their 10-year tenure as the Affiliate Window executive team. The Group continued to operate in Germany, the Netherlands, France, Italy, Spain, the Nordics, Poland and Brazil as zanox, and as Affiliate Window in the UK and US markets.
Throughout their respective histories, zanox and Affiliate Window were awarded for innovative affiliate marketing solutions and exceptional service including the Deloitte Rising Star accolade, the European Seal of e-Excellence, and several Performance Marketing Awards in the UK and Europe.
In 2016, the zanox AG board decided to unify the two companies to become one brand, Awin, to help achieve its mission of becoming the partner of choice for affiliate marketing across the world.
Mark Walters, CEO for Awin says: "Our new brand identity symbolises the unified way we already operate within the group and further supports our ethos of a seamless global affiliate solution, that continues to drive forward each market through advances in service and technology.”
New Platform
In conjunction with the new brand is the launch of a single, global platform. The internationalised Awin interface enables advertisers and publishers in every territory to seamlessly join programmes across the globe. The platform is available in 10 languages and supports multiple currencies. Already live in the UK, IE, US, CA and FR, the Awin platform will be available in all markets in the coming months and provides access to enhanced, industry-leading features including:
- Cross-device tracking: tracking and rewarding customer journeys across multiple devices and reporting this information back to advertisers and publishers
- Payment on Influence: Allowing publishers to be rewarded for sales they have influenced early in the purchase funnel
- Convert-a-link: a plugin that automates converting product links into trackable links with a single click
Peter Loveday, CTO of Awin says: "Previously, our group had two incredibly talented teams in Berlin and London working on separate technologies, each with their own strengths. We have now merged those teams and skills and focused all our energy on a single solution. We are excited about harnessing the power of this team towards a single goal and the advantages this will bring to our ability to innovate.”
Market Insights
Additionally, Awin launches ‘Market Insights’. Hosted within Awin.com, Market Insights aims to provide unparalleled access to data and trends across our global network. The insights will be shared in the form of Trend Reports, Whitepapers, Back to Basics and Articles covering everything from the fundamentals of our channel to the latest industry debates.
Adam Ross, COO of Awin says: “The combination of our networks has given us access to wonderfully rich and insightful data. Now we have a platform to share this far and wide with the aim of advancing our industry and creating the affiliate marketing programmes of the future.”
The launch of the brand has been communicated directly to all zanox and Affiliate Window clients, and will be celebrated in local markets in the coming weeks.
