Sunday Times Best Place to Work 2023

Written by 3 minute read

Awin has secured another UK workplace accolade, in the Sunday Times Best Places to Work 2023.

Following last year’s recognition as one of Glassdoor’s top 20 places to work in the UK, Awin has again been honoured by a prestigious win as a top place to work for 2023.

The Sunday Times partnered with WorkL to measure employee engagement, happiness and wellbeing in the workplace. Ranking in the Top 10 in the Big Organisations category (250-1,999 employees), Awin is also highly commended as one of the best places to work for 16-34 year olds.

Highlighting Awin’s flexibility and wellness programmes, The Sunday Times writes:

“The London office of global affiliate marketing platform Awin is one of 17 worldwide. Cross-department collaboration, creativity and communication are valued at the company, which attracts new talent via internships and working student programmes, as well as through global exchange programmes and experienced hires. Staffers aged 16 to 34 give Awin a 90 per cent score for engagement overall.”

Awin was a pioneer in establishing a company-wide 4-day work week back in 2021. Now, three years on, employees are enjoying their permanent Flexi-Week and all the wellbeing benefits alongside it. Programs at Awin extend from mental health coaching, financial coaching, fitness and other physical health benefits, employee resource groups and support, and many more wellbeing initiatives. Awin’s rural retreats also receive a special mention for their innovative approach to team bonding.

While remote working remains a core tenant of the company, Awin’s offices around the world still come together to enjoy our beautiful workspaces and collaborate in person as and when they want to. The complete flexibility is hugely valued by our staff, and our Work Anywhere policy allows for employees to explore and have new adventures, whilst having the stability of their employment.

The safety, happiness, and inclusiveness of Awin is something that our company continues to take pride in. Our CEO Adam Ross speaks to this prestigious mention:

“We're thrilled to be named a Sunday Times Best Place to Work for 2023. Our relentless pursuit of an exceptional company culture has paid off, as echoed by our employees who recognised us with the prestigious Glassdoor Best Place to Work earlier this year. This consistent validation from our staff fuels our drive to excel. We're a company that addresses the real challenges of today's employment landscape, providing practical solutions and fostering a modern workplace. Our talented team is the backbone of our success, propelling us to lead in the industry. Collaboration, bravery, and a passion for growth drive us upwards. This recognition inspires us to continue nurturing a world-class culture where each employee thrives. We're excited for the journey ahead, seizing new opportunities and achieving even greater heights together.”

The responses from current and previous employees are what drove Awin to this achievement. WorkL asked employees 35 thoughtfully curated questions about their wellbeing and satisfaction in the company, and via anonymous answers employees were able to give authentic feedback. Awin scored highly in the survey in the areas of Reward & Recognition, Information Sharing, Empowerment, Wellbeing, Instilling Pride, and Job Satisfaction. 96% of employees reported they are happy with the hours they work, and 95% feel that their wellbeing at Awin is valued. The survey showed that all employees who responded feel highly rewarded at Awin and have a great relationship with their line manager.
